The team at Balmer Farm is dedicated to maximizing the potential of the racehorse, always considering 'how would I like to be treated if I were a horse?

My family all live on the farm. GERALD and NADINE WEST, my father and mother are highly encouraging and supportive, both love their racing. Dad pools his thoughts in with the rest of the team, and mum is a first rate cook and hostess-need I say more? JEREMY and DALE WEST, my brother and sister-in-law are responsible for the farm, and we work together to ensure that farming and racing work together side by side. My eleven year old daughter MEGAN, loves racehorses and is my most severe critic!

 

My assistant trainer Deena Goad is also our stable amateur. She has an extensive and successful racing background.

I am extremely fortunate to have access to her depth of knowledge.
